Day 4,5, and 6 in Cali.

Day 4 was Phineas and Ferb Day. We decorated with orange and green, played a fun Phin. and Ferb board game, watched some episodes of the show, and did some awesome Dr. Doofinsmurtz experiments. I didn't get any pics of that because Hads wasn't feeling too good so I let her play in the tub for like 45 minutes and she was happy.
The experiments they did included: putting white flowers in food coloring water to see if the petals would change color, put gummy bears in water to see if they got bigger, put one side of a penny on vinegar to see if it changed color, and some others I can't think of. Oh and we got tons of tattoos of all the characters on the show.

Only 1 pic. of the decor I started getting really tired at night when we would do this. My mom did an awesome job doing all the hard work!

Day 5 was Super Mario Brothers Day. We played the game on the Wii, they got S.M.B. dry erase boards, and question mark boxes with chocolate coins inside. I swear we did more stuff but I can't think of it at this moment. :)

Day 6 was learing day. We gave the kids note pads and pens, and a welcome home sign to color for their parents. I think everyone was exhausted by this day. We did decorate but as you've noticed my energy level was on super low and my pictures weren't that great.

We had such a fun time being with the kids for a whole week. They're SO much fun and full of non stop energy. I got a taste of what's to come my way in T-minus 10 weeks. I don't know how you do it alone in the day Stef and Erin! You guys are awesome.

Day 3 in Cali.

Today was Star Wars day. The boys were really excited. Hadley loved the hanging streamers and balloons. She would always want to go through them and touch them. When she got a balloon in her hand she was entertained for 45 minutes. Today we watched Clone Wars, pinned the ear on Yoda, colored in clone Wars coloring books, and learned about the planets. The boys chose to wear their Star Wars shirts that day.
This was also the day Hadley started to not feel so well :(

Awesome shirts!

Day 2 in Cali.

On Sunday was the Superbowl. So on Saturday we went to the grocery store and the kids each picked a couple treats they wanted for that day. Sunday was great weather so we had a picnic at the park and then got ready for the big game.
The kids helped us decorate with the team logos and helments. My mom made a football toss and the boys got their own little footballs to throw.
McCord thought the first couple of commercials were SO funny. The one where the cheeta is going to race the car but chases the guy instead and also the Vampire whos headlights were too bright it turned him and his friends to dust. He wasn't too fond of the half time show and thought it was "lame". I thought it rocked! and he really wanted to Giants to win!
Even though it was hard to watch the game we had a lot of fun with them and Cord kept asking what the score was. He was happy his team won. (sorry about your "lame" Pats. Dad)

Day 1 in Cali.

My mom and I came up with the idea of having theme days each day we were there. So we kicked it off with Pirates and decorated every night so when the kids would wake up they had something to look forward too. When Dane first came downstairs and saw the decorations this is what happened:
Dane: "Who's Birthday is it?"
Mom and I: "It's no ones Birthday, we just wanted to have a fun pirate day and celebrate pirates"
Dane: "So it's Captain Jack's Birthday."
He's the funniest kid ever.

On this day we watched Pirates of the Caribbean, ate yummy pizza, made key chains for the locks to their treasure boxes, got Captain Jack tatoos, and ended the night with the treasure hunt.

Reading their clues to the treasure. Notice Dane put his key chain into his bandana. When he got his treasure he asked where his key was.

Inducted

I've been officially inducted into the 3rd trimester. I totally kicked the 2nd one in its ars. Things are going good. Just starting to get uncomfotable and out of breath for no reason and wearing more slip on shoes because it's uncomfortable to bend over to tie shoes. It's all good though because I know it'll just get worse in the next few weeks.
Tomorrow my mom and I are flying out to Stef's to watch her 3 kids while her and John romance in Maui. I think this will either make or break me. So we'll see how strong I really am being prego.
And last but not least, I saw this survey a lot with some girls that were pregant and loved reading them so I wanted to do one too. Enjoy. Oh and my Birthday is next Friday the 10th just in case anyone wanted to send me soemthing :)
Happy LoVe MoNtH!

Almost 20 weeks

28 Weeks

How Far Along: 28 Weeks

Size of baby: 2-ish weeks ago she was 2 lbs. 1 oz.

Maternity Clothes: I put those off as long as I could, got a maternity shirt for Christmas which was the comfiest thing I've worn, so now it's all maternity pants and mix between regular and maternity shirts.

Gender: GIRL

Name: Thinking of 1 in particular.. :) Need a middle name

Movement: Lots of movement on my right side, feeling hiccups, and sometimes the movement gets uncomfortable especially when she thinks she's an Octopus or Ninja. Real funny girlfriend.

Sleep: Hard to fall asleep then I'm fine until Brody gets up at 4:30am everyday and I'm wide awake for about an hour after he's gone.. And Brody thinks I act like a bird when getting into bed and calls it "making my nest" because I move the blankets, pillows, and whatever else until I'm comfy. Therefore, calling it my nest makes sense I guess.

Cravings: Can't think of anything I'm dying for. Except today I made a special trip to the grocery store for some cottage cheese. Mix that with garlic salt and dip some salty chips in. YUM.

Symptoms: My laugh has definitely changed. Whenever I laugh really hard (of course I almost pee my pants) but the part where you're quiet and nothing comes out because you're laughing so hard, well I get all wheezy. So the other name Brody has given me is "Wheezy". I don't actually know if this is a symptom of pregnancy.. is it?
And my SI joint is not being very friendly.

Weird Things: I recieved my first set of stretch marks in a weird spot. On the sides of both my legs in the exact same spot. Not the places I thought I would get them.. T.M.I. for anyone? Sorry.

Worries: I've been hearing a lot of stories from random people saying they had their baby 5 weeks early (2 people to be exact). And I know a few girls who had their babies 3 months early.. That freaks me out.

Best Moment of the Week(s): When Brody can fill and SEE her moving.

Appointments This Week: Had my appointment 2 weeks ago. Did the glucose test and thinking it was fine since I haven't heard anything back yet. Getting 3D ultrasounds is awesome!

What I’m looking forward to: Baby Showers :) We have nothing for her yet.

Something I've Learned/Realized: When my sisters say you loose your brain when you're pregnant is an ACTUAL FACT. If I don't write something down I won't remember it. ever. I can tell a difference that I'm loosing it too and I hate it! I have a hard time remembering words and doing simple things. They say you never get it back either. oh boy.

oh Brian.

Since the end of October Brody has been talking about Brian Regan. He wanted tickets so bad! So I told him I would look into it. Instead, I asked my step mom to get them for him for Christmas and she was able to get some from her work.
When I told Brody the price had started going up and some shows were sold out, I could tell he was very upset even though he didn't say he was. it was KILLING me to keep this a secret.
Then the day after Christmas, he opened his envelope and was grinning from ear to ear. He was SO happy. Thanks Mary!
We had no idea where our tickets were until we got there. 12th row dead center. They were perfect! The night was way fun.
A little side note- For thsoe of you who don't know, I attract the "weirdies" wherever I go. Movies, concerts, Jazz games, you name it. They will be sitting right next to me. Well this night wasn't any different. There was this guy sitting by me with 2 empty seats next to him (of course he couldn't scoot his boot over one chair to give us a little breathing room). He was alone and laughing so hard at EVERY little word said he probably peed his pants 3 times, he would clap his hands and throw his head back he was laughing that hard. Brian was way funny but come one, he wasn't THAT funny...Right? That was the only damper of the night.

Great seats!

Channing

It's crazy how fast I can get attached to this little man. Who couldn't?

He's SO cute and was defiently the star of the weekend. My mom and I and Dad and Mary made our way to St. George for his blessing. It was a great warm weekend. Thanks Erin and Tyler for having us!
