12 weeks

Here's an update on what's been going on with the pregnancy :)
Sorry no pictures on this post. Next time for sure.

1. I can't brush my teeth without severly gagging and being on the verge of throwing up. I heard while you're humming you can't gag, so I'm humming all morning until I get to work.

2. I'm not nauseated anymore (woot woot)!! But I will throw up super duper fast if something sounds, tastes, looks, or smells slightly bad.

3. Still emotional- I was driving past the Layton Marathon and started crying because there were family members cheering on their runners with signs and taking pictures.. so cute, I couldn't control it. Yes-Brody had to witness this hot mess.
Also, I can't watch shows like Biggest Loser and Million Dollar Baby with anybody

4. At the Doctors this month, we were able to see the babys shape. We saw it's arms and legs, head, and bum. It was moving like crazy-which freaked me out a little that I can't feel a thing. And the baby was measuring 4 days ahead of schedule.

5. I'm starting to gain some lbs. Just a couple though, my pants still fit but anything tight on my stomach is uncomfortable, so the buttons are all undone! (going to buy maternity clothes has been a hard thought for me)

6. I have the weirdest dreams, I wake up a lot during the night, when I laugh really hard, I get sharp pains a little below my belly button that lasts a couple days- I think I strain my muscles or something.

7. Last but not least, We find out the sex of the baby November 1st!! I've heard to drink some lemonade before going in so the baby is moving around a lot. Anybody have other good ideas that'll help???

Yep, drinking something sugary will get the baby hyper so it will move. When I went to find out what Hads was she was being stubborn so they gave me apple juice to drink while I was there. Ah, I hate being pregnant :)
Although all of these things sound cute and funny when you're not going through them yourself.

So fun! I can't wait to see if you're having a boy or girl, that's the best part :) I had the same problem with brushing my teeth- good idea with the humming. Try "Ross" for maternity clothes! They have some really cute stuff for SO cheap- and cheap is hard to come by when it comes to maternity! Good luck :)

Oh Jesse that sounds so great. I'm sorry for all your morning sickness but I'm still so excited for you and Brody. Sorry, I don't have any tips for you though, seeing how I have never had a baby ;)
I can't wait to hear what the sex of the baby is. It sounds like your life is full of joy right now! Congrats!!
