Sissy's

My Sisters came in the weekend after Reece was born and spoiled me and Brody with SO MUCH FOOD!! We have had freezer meals this whole month! I can't believe how long it's been since I've been actual grocery shopping. They and my mom are awesome!

Visitors

Through the month we've LOVED having visitors come and see Reece. Thanks everyone for coming out.

Ta- DAAAAA

And with a snap of a finger she was here! Ha Just kidding. It was more like with a snap of a finger, 22 hours of labor, an epidural that wore off, 10 more seconds and I would of had an emergency C-section, episiotomy, throwing up, passing out, starving, water breaking that ran down Brody's legs, IV that went straight through my vein.. SHE WAS HERE!! No biggie. Piece of Cake really. That pretty much sums it up. She was born April 19th at 4:25am. She weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 19 inches long. We had been in the hospital for 3 days and I was dying to get out and go recover at home. They finally let us go Friday night and recovery at home is much better then the hospital. We hadn't picked her name until we were pretty much leaving the hospital. It was between Maelee, Jaci, and Reece. We decided on Reece and it fits her perfectly! Reece Aurina Robinson will be her name. Aurina is my great grandmothers name but she goes by Rena. This baby girl is prefect in everyway. Brody is totally smitten and she is my best friend. Now here are picks from the mornng we left to the hospital until she was born!

Family Baby Shower

Let me just tell ya.. Erin totally out did herself this time. My Mom and Stef helped a ton too. Brody's grandparents came in from Idaho and Joyce and Jenny came in from Arizona to be to the shower. We played some fun games, everyone made baby girl a onsie, we ate the best appetizers and stuffed chicken I've ever had, and Brody and the boys made it home in time after Priesthood to open presents with me. We got SO much great stuff! Her wardrobe is bigger then mine and we pretty much got everything we needed. Thank you everyone! It was such a busy day in preparing that I didn't really elevate my swollen feet. By the end of the night they were HUGE. Like elephant status. I appreciate all those who helped make this special for me and the time and effort everyone put in to be there. You're all the best.

Brough Realty

My last day of work was the last Friday in March. I've worked at Brough Realty for almost 4 years. It was the best job I've ever had! I loved everyone (well almost everyone) I worked with. When I got there on Friday the whole office was there for a surprise baby shower/good-bye party. We had a delicious luncheon and I got some great gifts. I didn't think I would but right when I got in my car to go home I started crying.. like the whole way home. I was laughing and crying to myself and probably looked like a crazy person. Brody was very supportive through my hormonal, emotional break down. This is my sad face.

What's going on!

so my access to the internet has been limited. here is an update on what's been happening lately... I am getting induced wednesday, yes tomorrow! at 6 am. I have very high blood pressure and the dr. is worried about toxemia. So she's calling it gestational hypertension so anyone choosing to be induced that day will get bumped because I'm considered medical.. Sorry ladies trying to have babies that day. Starting on sunday I started getting really nauseated and getting super bad headaches. It's most likely due to the high blood pressure. I have a dr. appointment this afternoon and I'm hoping she'll just send me to the hospital because this does not feel good at all! Yuck!
luckily brody took the day off today to take care of me. He's been a real sweetheart to take care of me and get everything ready for baby to come home.
Well that about sums it up. I think brody will post some pics on facebook of the big day. wish us luck for a short delivery!

Friend Shower

I LOVE my friends! Wendy and Cambria threw me a baby shower last Saturday and we had a blast! We played games like guess the baby food (which was pretty nasty), pictionary, and baby bottle chugging. We had great laughs, delicious food, and caught up on eachothers lifes. I had so much fun I can't thank them all enough.

Horrible pic by me of Wendy and Cam. we were all laughing so hard at the bottle chugging!

Survey #3

How Far Along: 35 Weeks and 2 days

Size of baby: 5 lbs. 14 oz. !!!!

Maternity Clothes: Yup.

Gender: Still a GIRL

Name: We widened our list from 1 to 3. Crap.

Movement: Lots of strong movement to the point it hurts. Brody loves to feel how strong her movements are getting, Of course I love to feel her but sometimes it's a bit too strong.

Sleep: I'm always tired but actually going to sleep is the trick. And I wake up in pain a lot because my hips hurt.

Cravings: Call me crazy but Crown Burger fry sauce. Haha. Not the fries, just the sauce. And the weirder part is I haven't been to a Crown Burger for over 4 years, before we got married.

Symptoms: Muscles are still pretty sore and I have those sharp knife stabbing pains on my cervix.

Weird Things: My belly button hurts. It's still an inney, maybe it's trying to turn into an outty ??

Worries: I'm getting my cervix checked in 2 weeks to see the how far I am. Hoping it wont hurt but I hear differently. If I'm having contractions my Dr. won't check. Pray for my contractions to start! T.M.I.? Sorry :)

Best Moment of the Week(s): When Brody gets home I swear she knows who it is because she starts moving like crazy. She's already a daddy's girl.

Appointments This Week: Had it yesterday and again in 2 weeks.

What I’m looking forward to: The bath towels fitting me all the way around. I think I'll start using a beach towel. And of course meeting her!

Something I've Learned/Realized: I know on the last survey I said I had some anxiety issues, which I still do but not as bad. I'm just ready for her to come out. I'd be a happy camper if my water broke right NOW. I'd rather that happen then get started at the hospital because I wouldn't have to freak out about that scheduled day. Ya know what I mean? Unless I'm 40 weeks or over then I'm fine with getting induced.

His dream

Came true.
Now now don't freak out. He always wears his helmet and jacket that is equipped with protection stuff. He has ALWAYS wanted a motorcycle and I caved. They say a happy wife makes a happy life but a happy husband makes a happy wife.

He looks bad to the bone.

Design

I have been wanting to get the baby girls room started FOREVER and I wanted to paint a design on the wall using my sweet $15 old school projector I got. The colors are a little weird but it matches her bedding perect. The painting process took forever and I'm still not done because you can still see the pencil marks. Blah.
I need peoples honest abe opinions on how they think it looks.

Boring Corner

Rocks

Not much to this post except we got some rocks put in our yard and now we're ready for sprinklers! Brody is going to do it himself. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

PPB

Ya know how I got a black Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag from my freaking awesome husband? Well we decided we didn't like the huge strap and exchanged it for something else and we changed the design too.
Meet Petunia 2.0

Isn't she just magical?

Brian Head

In Feb. we met the Wittwers at their condo in Brian Head. This year, there was much less snow on the roads and we were able to get to the condo safely with no accidents (unlike last year). I wasn't able to go snowboarding this year which was fine because I got Channing all to myself!
Brody was feeling pretty confident before he even did his first trip down the hill, he volunteered to help Jackson down the hill. Brody had a snowboard, Jack had skis on. Well Jackson is fearless and went crusing down the hill. Brody took off on his snowboard trying to catch him and fell pretty hard on his butt. It's still bruised to this day. Brody got right back up and continued chasing him until Jack had an accident of his own and crashed pretty hard and a ski went flying. Of course he wasn't hurt or scared. He just wanted to do it again.
The weekend was much needed fun and relaxing. We were fortunate enough to have Erin and her kids come back to Layton with us for a week while Tyler went to Orlando for work.
We ended the week with the kids sleeping at our house. They're so stinking cute! I miss them all so much and can't wait to see them in like 2 weeks!

Such a cute family

Just relaxing

Survey Says

How Far Along: 32 Weeks

Size of baby: 2 weeks ago she weighed 3 lbs. 6 oz.

Maternity Clothes: I don't think my non maternal shirts are a great idea anymore. I will show you why in a pic at the end of this post.

Gender: GIRL

Name: Still needing a middle name

Movement: Not as much movement but lots of pressure and now there's hard bumps where she's pushing out on my stomach.

Sleep: What's that? I'm starting to dread going to sleep because I'm very uncomfortable. I wake up probably every hour and a half because my hips hurt!

Cravings: Oh boy, Red Vine's are to die for! I bought some for part of Brody's B-day present not having a craving for them. Then for a few days they were watching me from where they sat and I caved, opened them, and ate the whole package within 2 days! Don't worry I went and bought a bigger package :)

Symptoms: Besides still being called Wheezy from my laugh, ALL my muscles hurt below my belly button, not cramps but you know what I mean ladies. I can't move!

Weird Things: Where's my belly button going? It tends to keep getting smaller and smaller..My dreams are pretty vivid, in depth, and CRAZY. This has been throughout the whole pregnancy.

Worries: I am starting to feel like I can't do as much as I use to. I know this is normal but I hate feeling useless and weak. i.e. bending over. This really is a worry, not a joke.

Best Moment of the Week(s): Rylee telling me I can't sit on her air mattress because I'm too big it will pop haha. And having Jack and Rylee ask about the baby in my belly. What's the name, boy or girl, stuff like that is always fun to hear. We also bought a SWEET Lazy Boy recliner and a new icomfort mattress which is awesome! Thank goodness for Brodys killer discount at RC Willeys.
Oh and I finally recieved my Associates Degree Official Paper which makes me feel smart. It only took me 4 years :)

Appointments This Week: Have one next week. Then after that starts the 2 week appointments then weekly then whatever they do after that..

What I’m looking forward to: Drinking Dr. Pepper freely. I don't drink it much at all. Maybe a few sips once a month. I miss the burn on my throat from that first gulp and all the fiz, then the little burps that come shortafter. MMMMMMM

Something I've Learned/Realized: My brain is still gone. I went to the grocery store and the only thing I could think about was buying butter. So I bought 2 boxes because they were on sale. When I got home to put the butter away, we already had like 2 full boxes in there. Now I have 4 boxes. I don't even use sticks of butter! Anybody need butter?
On a serious note, I have anxiety after I leave the Doctor's everytime because this baby is coming SO soon! We have nothing for her and I feel completely unprepared to bring home a baby I am responsible for. Not to mention I will have no sleep (I hear) and Jessie(with no baby)+ No sleep= A DISASTER so Jessie(with baby)+ No Sleep= Something I don't even want to think about.

CAUTION: This pic. is HORRIBLE of me. This is why I just shouldn't wear my normal t-shirts. I couldn't help it I love Jimmy Fallon and my shirt. Goodbye for now favorite shirt.

Celebrating.....

This HUNK

He's the most amazing man I know. 5 things I love about Brody:
1. He is a HARD WORKER whether it be at school, work, or working out
2. He's the FUNNIEST person I know.
3. He's my babies daddy :)
4. He's very intelligent
5. He is very GOOD LOOKING

Just a quick anecdote of how awesome he is. The other day he worked 14 hours. When he got home we were doing brainless activity watching the tv when he noticed my ankles (now known as kankles) were swollen and wanted to rub the swelling out. Of course I refused but he insisted and rubbed my kanks anyways. He always does stuff like that, that really means a lot to me but I'm sure he thinks it's nothing.
Ok back to his Birthday!
He had a Birthday on Sunday and so we used that excuse to celebrate all weekend. On Saturday we went to Red Robin with his family and my mom and Paul. On Sunday he had his favorite eats at my moms for lunch and at his moms for dinner. We watched the Jazz loose 2 games in a row Sunday and Monday. And this weekend we are meeting Erin, Tyler, and the gang at Brian Head so he can do some snowboarding.

Birthday!

Spending my Birthday in Cali. with my family was fun. Although I was missing my main squeeze (Brody) like crazy I was excited to have a whole birthday weekend. Starting Friday ending Sunday. Stef and John were so sweet to bring back some awesome beach bags for my mom and I and she also got me a CUTE dress for the baby and some bows, jewlery, and lots of cards from the boys and Hads. My mom made yummy red velvet cupcakes and gave my some moola. My Dad and Mary did also and so did Brody's grandparents Lee and Gayla, and my Grandma Shirley and Ray. Jana got me Ticket To Ride with an extension pack and made a delicious red velvet cake too! Oh how I love it. Thank you all SO much I really apprecite it!
When I got home Saturday Brody was working so I was sitting patiently alone fighting the urge to snoop for what he got me. FINALLY he got home and I was spoiled rotten. First, he made rails for our stairs that look amazing, gave me flowers, got me a pair of capris and a pair of work pants, 2 necklesses that come with earings, another pair of earings, and a lovely Petunia Picklebottom diaper bag! HOLY MOLY! I was so shocked. For anobody who knows Brody, you know he doesn't like shopping. He said he missed me so much that's why I was spoiled. We ended the night at Red Robin. What a GREAT Birthday! Thank you everyone for making it so special.
