Tis the season

After a wonderful Thanksgiving feast at Brody's granparents in Idaho, we said good- bye to Black Friday shopping and got our first tree instead. I think we went a little overboard with how big we got it but we LOVE IT!! This year we added some red and gold berry bunches and it is prefect!
Also the Utah Jazz are in full swing and we don't miss a game. My grandpa (who has season tickets)was in the hospital for the Friday game against the Mavs and was very adament in us going, so we went. They lost but it was a ton of fun being there.
13 more days until we go to Cali for Christmas and we are so excited! hope everyone id happy and healthy and Merry Christmas!
P.S. My pictures are in the wrong order.

Is this legal?

For the past 2 years I've been dying to go see Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Well my wonderful mother in law got some tickets and we went last night. Brody had to work so I brought my mom.. I wasn't sure what to expect at first but it blew me away how awesome it really was. They played a good solid 2 1/2 hours. The first part of the show was dedicated to Christmas with a narrator and all telling a story. It surprised me how religious it was, talking about how an angel was trying to find a gift to give to the Lord with songs in between.
It was total Rock and Roll so it made me nervous what my mom and Jana thought but they said they really liked it so GO if you have a chance. Not to mention it was fun to see everyone head banging to "Oh Holy Night".
These are some videos that do not do them justice. The 1st video is the Sugar Plum Fairies, 2nd is I think still part of the Nutcracker, and 3rd is something I have no idea what but it's radical!

Christmas Boutique- Yes in November

I had a go with some crafts the past couple of weeks which developed into a love-hate relationship. I took some pictures of the my boutique booth and I'm excited/nervous to see if things sell. If they don't we're gonna have a butt load of candles and clothes pins!
I'm not trying to sell to you but if you like the candles I can to custom candles with whatever images or saying you like. It only looks best on white candles.
The pictures are for you Stef and Erin! \

Halloween

Remember This Blog? Well.. It's back in action!
Halloween was a ton of fun thanks to some good friends and a great husband! We went to a costume party as hippies and partied all night. We felt a little out of funk with the season-probably because my mom was gone :( but she had fun :)

Summer Lovin' (Picture Overload) :)

This is a recap of the summer lovin' adventures we've had. The 4th, Bee's Game, McCord,Dane, and Brody are BFF's, Roasting Mallows, Hanging at Grandpa's, The 24th with the Romig's (Brody and Jeff throwing huge rocks off the bridge to make a splash... don't ask why??), Joyce, Jenny, and Dalyn having a cupcake eating contest, and my Crazy Garden. The plant in the pic is 1 single pumpkin plant and it's longer than 7 feet! It won't stop growing.. hopefully we'll get a lot of pumpkins this fall. Riders in the sky was an awesome FREE concert we went to. The videos are of Cord and Dane light saber fighting with an awesome sunset, McCord I think trying to be scary but actually is being way funny! (sorry I forgot to flip the video vertically), and Jeff and Brody having there rock throwing/splash contest at Muller Park.

B.S.B. YES PLEASE!

Words cannot describe how awesome the Backstreet Boys are. But I will try. We went to the concert and the opener was a D.J. who was not good! We felt like we were at a rave and on the verge of seizures. After that joker was done I was in a bad mood.. hoping the BSB wouldn't let me down. And they DIDN'T. When they first came out I felt like a 10 year old all over again! It was awesome! I have some pics but the videos are better. Enjoy.

California Love

Last week I packed up again and headed to sunny California to hang out with my boys and Stef. It was a super fun week full of swimming lessons, laughing till I cry, junk food eating, sword fighting, swimming at the lake, garden planting, "Squeek"-ual watching, Lego Star Wars playing, Kite flying good time! That pretty much sums it up.
(I can't figue out how to label my pics below so It starts with the Kite festival, then the pipe cleaner decorated faces, and the lake)

Disneyland

During Mothers Day weekend we all packed up and headed to Disneyland! Pretty much one of our favorite growing traditions..We had a blast with Joyce and Jenny and the Christensens. Joyce and Jenny just make the parks SOO much better because they know how to work the system with fast passes and know where to eat and go.
Can't wait for next year!

We'll have blast together screaming like little teen boppers again.

a WHAT under my WHAT?

Agh..I guess my number was up for something unusual to happen to my health. When I went to bed monday night I was fine, when I got up the next morning I was in the worst pain. I've been having salivary duct problems under my tongue for a couple years now but nothing to this extent. I couldn't eat any solid foods for 3 whole days (and kind of today) because everytime my mouth would water my gland under my tongue felt like someone was pinching it, my gland under my jaw would swell, my left ear felt like it was being pricked with a needle and then I would get a pressure headach. I was trying to wait it out because this wasn't that uncommon for me, i thought it would pass.
After and idea of brilliance between me and Stef, she called her father in-law Dr. john (who is my dentist) he called me immediately and prescribed me some antibiotics and told me to come into the office the next day. So he took an x-ray, saw a cyst in there, numbed me.. and kept on numbing me under my tongue. He worked on it for about 15 minutes draining a ton of puss, digging, poking, pinching, shaking trying to break it up. I was in some pain at this point when he said he couldn't get it and was sending me to an oral surgeon who would see me in 20 minutes. So on my way I go to Dr. Dedecker who numbed me somemore under my tongue and it felt like right on my tongue! made an incision and got that thing out. I thought I was going to be in a lot of pain when there was an assistant to my left, the Doc to my right and another assistant behind me holding my head steady and firm. But it didn't hurt at all (besides the shot on my tongue)!
Today is a great day, although i'm a little tender, the drainage is almost out and I'm starting to enjoy solids again. All thanks to Dr. John Christensen. He's a great guy!
The pics below are the cyst, and the other 2 is of the white stuff under my tongue being puss everytime I salivate. be lucky for your working salivary glands- I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy haha.

Jazz, Cali, Wedding

This year has been full of events...
I'll start out by saying Brody and I love the Jazz. Since our Birthdays are in February we decided to treat ourselves out to a game against the Nuggets. Little did we know how AWESOME the seats were! We got Carmello Anthony's autograph and slapped "Bird Man's" hand everytime he went in and out of the locker room. (If you know basketball, you know how wonderful that night was for us! haha)The picture of Carmello is right where our seats were.
Next we went to Cali to suprise the Christensen's. We had so much fun just playing on the trampoline and being in the warm sun. We went to Monteray Bay aquarium and grabbed some great shots of jelly fish.
The picture of McCord hanging onto Brody was pretty much what the trip was like for Brody.. McCord and Dane could not get enough of him! Brody loved it though.
Oh and Zach and Mikell's wedding was so fun and pretty--minus the pouring rain! This was the best picture I got of them that day.
