Drum Roll Please ddddddddddd.....

Let me explain the bottom pictures first. This is what Uncle Steve made us for Valentine's Day and for my Birthday, he did such a great job on this heart! But he made us wear masks of course and when Brody put his on I was laughing so hard I could barley take the picture!
Well I made my own Birthday cake using of course fondant. I broke down and used store bought and I actually like it a lot better because it's not so sticky! I also bought a new tip for this class I'm going to and I got a little carried away with it on my cake. Also, the color of the frosting was meant to be red but I couldn't get it any darker unless I used up all my coloring. I am for the first time proud of the cake minus the clashing of the colors. Thank you for all supporting me in this! It means a lot and I think I'm getting better and thank you Grandma Shirley for the pans, books, and platter the cake is sitting on.
I love you all and Happy Birthday to me! :)

January blah. February HOORAY!

First and foremost, COUNTDOWN
My Birthday: 9 days (Feb. 10)
Tyler's B-day: 11 days (Feb. 12)
Baby Riley Comes: 11 days (Feb. 12)
Stef's B-day: 12 days (Feb. 13)
Valentines: 13 days (Feb. 14)
Brodys B-day: 18 days (Feb. 19)
and I know Stacy's, Jared's, and Brad's is in there too but can't remember when!
Secondly, my cake. I thought I was off to a good start with a new fondant recipe, homemade buttercreme icing and not destroying the cakes. Guess I was wrong, when I was mixing the color with the fondant, it all went downhill from there. And, well.. you'll see in the pictures but the fondant cracked and didn't want to cooperate.
The superbowl was a blast with yummy food that we stuffed our bellies with. Too bad Cardinals didn't win but it made for a good game eh?
This month we started off with going back to school. We are taking a lot harder classes this semester so hopefully we do as well as we did last semester. Brody is taking 5 and I am only taking 3 which I have all with Brody. Our first is a computer class, thinking it was going to be easy cheese but it's not and our professor looks identical to Jeff Foxworthy but with black hair. Our 2nd class is Geography and our teacher is very funny and always says "shut up and eat your popcorn" and the 3rd is Human Biology and the teacher is stuck on talking about evolution and his Elephant and Alligator hunting trips in Africa. Sheeeesh. Now we're gearing up for our first tests!
Brody's cousin got married and then one of our good friends Kylan got married so both of those weddings were really fun but really long days.
This was my longest blog yet, thatnks for reading! We love you all.

Here's the cake

Brody and the "gang" playing Rockband. They were all groomsmen at our friends wedding that's why their matching.

Missin' Cali. lookin' forward to Jersey.

Sorry It's been forever since the last post. But for an update we had a great Christmas in California. We were so lucky to have to whole family there. It was so fun to see McCord and Jackson open their presents from Santa. We also were fortunate to go into the city, this being Brody's first time. We went on a tour under the golden gate and around alcatraz, drove down Lumbard street, went to Ghiradelli square, and played a little on the pier. (pretty much what Stef's blog says). Anywho... we miss staying at Stef's and playing with Cord and Dane but hopefully look forward in seeing them soon. We can't wait for our first niece to be born! And we're excited to go to New Jersey.Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year!

Bowling was just one of the adventures we had.

McCords wonderful photog skills.
