4th O' Jewleye

The 4th was a BLAST this year minus the parade. It was too long, too crowded, Brody had to miss it for work, and Stef pretty much got tackled by a 7'3 man trying to catch a tie from Missionary Mall. So besides that whole chuck of morning that stunk, the rest of the day was great! The water fight/water games, BBQ, slip-n-slide, yummy treats from Dad and Mary and Suzanne, fireworks, and company couldn't get any better. So glad I was able to spend my favorite holiday with those I care for and love most!! Thanks for the fun day family!!

Gettin the party started!

The Wittwer's were the first to arrive so to kick off the party we started by going swimming at the Roy Aquatic Center. Jack loved going on the huge slide and Ry loved the little itty bitty kiddy slide made from a frog opening its mouth and sliding down the tongue.. little weird describing it but I totally would have loved it if I were a year or so younger.
The day ended with the last half hourat the pool Erin, Mom, and I all got sunburnt on our right shoulder and some terd pooped in the pool! gross.

The rest of June went by WAY too fast! My Family went to yummy, delicious, i want to go there right now, Taggarts while Joyce was in town. We celebrated Fathers Day with my Dad and gave him new things to do on his spare time with his new job like a new movie, a road map of the western states, a pocket knife and a stick of wood to widdle on... ya know, the usual. Although I don't think he really has that much spare time. We love you Dad.

Oh boy...

A remake of FOOTLOOSE?? The one and only show you can dance to with just your feet in the beginning?! And sing ALL the songs.
I wonder how Kenny Loggins is feeling about this?
This is really eating at me. Here's my list why:
1. The majority of the iconic shots from the first film are in the trailer for the new film.
2. It was not shot in Utah, at the famous Lehi Roller Mills! Now everytime I drive by the Roller Mills I can't shout "Footloose was shot there" I now have to say "Footloose the original was shot there" So inconvenient.
3.Ren IS NOT Kevin Bacon
4. When hearing this line... "Hey Hey! What's this I see? I thought this was a party? LET'S DANCE!" doesn't that just make you want to jump up and dance like they do??-Only Kevin could do that to me.
5. No one can be as skinny as that skinny girl Ariel.

I could sit here and make my list go to 100 reasons why I'm ERKED but I will let you see for yourself. I know I haven't seen the remake but I have a feeling it's going to be a 'Step Up' episode Xlll

Really??

So I'm sitting at work and all of a sudden I hear this "BANG" so I popped up from my desk and looked outside and there's a cars hood smoking and a lady laying on the ground screaming? laughing? being hysterical? I have no idea what she was doing..

Being the concerened person that I am :), I went to go outside to see if she was ok and she rolled off the ground and ran away behind her apartment building.

Well her neighbor was outside and called the cops... 3 cop cars later AND an ambulance, she was fine.

After taking in everything that was happening, it was actually pretty funny.. I think she went to reverse and put the car in drive and hit a tree and the airbags deployed. Man I would feel SOO dumb if that happened to me! Then she came back outside to talk to the cops with a cig in one hand and a coke in the other-thank goodness for those.

*IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN FUNNY IF SHE WAS HURT* (I'm not messed up like that)

Thanks to the 6 Kaysville P.D. employees/EMT's.. She was fine.
...I'm still waiting for the firetruck.. :)

What happens in Vegas... I will tell you.

We had such a fun weekend being able to celebrate our 3 year anniversary in VEGAS. I felt like we weren't there long enough but our bank account was telling us we were! We stayed in the Venetian hotel which has AMAZING rooms and AMAZING room service breakfast and so worth the $$$ we spent on it. We did some awesome shopping in Caesars Palace and Brody and Tyler had an encounter with Rocky Balboa.. it didn't turn out to well for them. And then we went and saw "O" which was unbelieveable and I'm pretty suspeciuos that the perfomers were, in fact, Merpeople (click the link if you don't know what that is). We ate dinner in St. Mark's square at Canaletto which was fun to try new things. Example, Tyler ordered some rotisserie chicken, vegetables, etc.. and when his plate came out it was in deed a whole CHICKEN. HAHA wish I gotta pic.
It was a fun vacation and anniversary! Horray for 3 years!!

Baby Shower

Congrats to Zach and Mikell!! We had a ton of fun at the baby shower. It was good to see the family again.
